Improved Conversion by implementing Acquia with Drupal CMS & integrating with Salesforce Sales Cloud


Background


Our client was a US-based leading tour operator who offered small-group, guided tours to exotic European destinations. They wanted to develop a new website, designed to give customers and agents the best possible brand experience throughout the travel process - from planning to booking to customer service and in-destination information

 

Our Solution


  • Developed a responsive website using Acquia Cloud (new content & experience), Acquia Lift (personalizing experiences).


  • Developed a dashboard for travel agents and integrated it with Salesforce Sales Cloud to manage reservations and commissions.


  • Integrated the site with Acquia DAM (Digital Asset Management) to enable the marketing teams to manage and reuse the collateral from a centralized location.


 

Results


The implemented solution increased traffic, improved lead generation as well as brand engagement. The personalized experiences lead to better lead conversions and they saw a 28% jump in lead to sale conversions. The agent turnover rate was reduced by 8%.
